I have created a number of blogs since starting my Book Thief blog last year. Each has its own purpose and so it's own look. Rhonda has also set up a blog for her class, which has a different feel than mine (I like her's better!)
Do a little "click around" here and leave me some feedback in the comment box. Which look do you like best? What content interests you? Read the student work: what do you notice?
Ms. McMaster's Book Thief Blog
Spitfires Basketball (my son's team)
Ms. Beebe's Catcher in the Rye Blog
North Star Outdoor Education (my husband's fledgling business)
This is way more fun than clogging! Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a wonderful was to get input from students that others might be to shy to share their voice in class.
ReplyDeleteI like the use of pictures.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to becoming more familiar with using a blog. Right now I am still not comfortable with using a blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the blog, lots of information. Glad to see students comments.
ReplyDeleteAt bit overwhelming. Wondering how to design the pages already.
ReplyDeleteI want to make one! Stop dangling the carrot and let us feast. Let us eat carrot!!
ReplyDeleteLaura - I like your blog. It was great to see the students write about a topic from history that was of interest to them and then see them investigate it. I really enjoy this format and getting the students to reflect on their learning in this way.
ReplyDeleteI think this blogging tool is a unique and non-tradtional way to study a novel. I enjoyed the visuals and that students can read each others comments and therefore extend their understanding.
